Traditional alpine bindings are made for regular use on the slopes. There are bindings for skiers of all levels. When buying a binding, it is important to consider your skill level: the cheapest bindings usually contain more plastic parts and are made for beginners. Slightly more expensive bindings usually contain more metal and are designed for heavy use.
