Products that have been labeled as a sustainable choice meet at least three of the five responsibility criteria. For this product, the following responsibility criteria are met:
The amount of recycled and/or organic materials is significant. Environmentally harmful chemicals have been replaced by more environmentally friendly substances. Materials of animal origin (if used) have been certified i.e. by RDS. The manufacturer communicates its carbon footprint and is actively doing measures to reduce it. The product has been made in a country with strong human rights, or if the production is for example in Far east, the factories should be audited regularly by a third party.
