A high quality down jacket for men, perfect for mountaineering and ski touring use.
The Breithorn jacket uses exceptionally lofty 800 fill-power down and a 30-denier ripstop nylon outer fabric, which is very common in such jackets. The result is a jacket that is warm for its weight and also packs down small. When you wear the jacket in cold weather while being active, you’ll benefit from the extra breathable fabric panels in the underarm area. Depending on the conditions, the jacket can function as a resting or camp jacket, or be worn during activity in freezing weather, and it works both on its own and under a roomy shell jacket.
The jacket is designed to answer to the requirements of demanding excursions, but its characteristics will keep you comfortable on more relaxed outings and sporty everyday wear as well.
In line with modern standards, the down filling has been treated to be water-repellent. This reduces the common issue, especially on long trips, where down garments lose some of their insulation properties due to moisture accumulation.
