All day, every day, any conditions.
The QST 98 can be summed up as: All day, every day, any conditions. The construction of the Salomon QST line combines materials that are durable but lightweight, producing a ski that charges at speed and floats effortlessly in powder. The QST 98 has a poplar core and a titanal layer around the binding, giving the ski a responsive feel and very direct power transmission. Thanks to the Cork Damplifier and C/FX technologies, the ski dampens vibrations and reliably absorbs impacts. The QST 98 is the all-mountain, one ski quiver option in the QST line up. It excels in tight trees and bumps due to its responsiveness. The rockered tips allow for quick turn initiation while the relatively stiff flex underfoot gives enough stability to charge on hard pack. Expert skiers who shred all over the mountain, mixing up occasional groomer runs with choppy sidecountry and technical, tight terrain will love the QST 98.
