A durable and highly protective Gore-Tex 3L jacket for fri skiing and winter hikes.
When Rab makes a shell jacket for winter sports, you can be sure that the materials and details are top-notch, with nothing left to chance. Three-layer Gore-Tex has been the choice of both enthusiasts and professionals who want truly durable weather protection for several decades. The cut of the Chroma Converge jacket provides both a good fit and excellent protection from the elements. The pockets are placed so that backpack and harness straps don’t block access—there’s plenty of room for gloves and skins. The zippers on the chest pockets and underarms can be used for very effective ventilation.
A big step toward sustainability is that the Gore-Tex membrane in this jacket is made without fluorocarbon compounds, using ePE, which is polyethylene. Previously, both the membrane and the outer fabric’s water-repellent treatment were made from PTFE.
This jacket was chosen as the winner of the 2024 OIA Winter Award.
