Nikwax TX-Direct Spray-on

A brand-new shell garment looks amazing in the rain: the surface fabric’s treatment makes water bead up so effectively that during a short shower the water doesn’t even reach the actual membrane. With use and washing, however, the treatment inevitably wears away little by little. You can see this easily when it starts to rain: the outer fabric begins to absorb water, which reduces breathability and feels unpleasant even though the water doesn’t actually seep through. Restoring the treatment at home is easy – all you need is Nikwax TX-Direct Spray-On.

Suitable for all waterproof and breathable garments. For best performance, washing with Tech Wash before reproofing is recommended. The treatment lasts for several washes. The water-based TX Direct treats the outer fabric. It is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and non-flammable. It contains no fluorocarbons. One bottle is enough to treat 2–3 jackets or pairs of pants.

Suitable for Gore-Tex, Texapore, Proof, HyVent, eVent, and DrymaxX garments, among others. Package size: 300 ml.

Contains no PFC compounds.

• Instructions for use:
• Preferably wash the garment first with Nikwax Tech Wash
• The garment does not need to be dried before applying the treatment
• Spray evenly from about 15 cm over the entire outer surface
• Wait 2 minutes and wipe off excess drips with a damp cloth
• Check that all parts of the garment have been treated
• Wait a few more minutes and wipe the surface again to remove any excess treatment
