Gear Aid Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches

Silicone treated fabrics have been notoriously difficult to patch with tape or sticker type solutions, as the slippery surface seems to shrug off everything except for a needle and some thread. Gear Aid has, however, finally managed to make a reliable solution to this use.

These patches adhere to silicone treated fabrics (silnylon, silpoly), nylon, polyester, fleece, vinyl, rubber and clean, unoiled leather.

You can also use the patch as a pre-emptive reinforcement in an area of a piece of apparel or gear you see wearing down faster than usual.
