Lasting Paljakka Balaclava

The Paljakka balaclava is made from fine merino wool. The fiber diameter is only 16 microns, and since merino wool is smoother than regular wool, most hikers can wear it directly against the skin—even many who find ordinary wool too coarse.

Merino wool is the perfect material for a winter headpiece: it regulates temperature fluctuations, feels comfortable even when damp, resists odor buildup, and requires less frequent washing than synthetics.

Use the Paljakka balaclava for winter cycling, skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and chilly-day cross-country skiing!
