Halti Laavu Pro

The Halti Laavu is a lean to shelter with a sewn-in floor and a mesh door with zipper. As an addition to previous years models this Pro model has also got a solid door. In the image this door has been rolled and attached to the top of the front opening.

Lean-to shelters like the Laavu Pro are an integral part of Finnish outdoor traditions. The textile versions are light to carry along and are traditionally used with a camp fire that’s a safe distance away in front of them.

Pole kit sold separately. It is also possible to use telescopic hiking poles or wood found from the woods as poles, or you can just simply pitch the whole thing with cords at the corners.
