A test winner base layer for cold conditions.
A two-layer, extremely warm merino wool base layer.
Winner of Retki magazine’s extensive base layer test. Rated five campfires, meaning the test group found nothing to improve in the Devold Expedition set.
Merino wool garments designed for cold conditions provide warmth and remain functional even when damp. Unless fully soaked, the base layer can often be dried simply by wearing it after arriving at camp. Merino wool also requires less washing than technical fabrics and naturally resists odor buildup.

Did you know?
Regular sheep wool fibers have a scaly structure, whereas merino wool fibers are significantly smoother. Many people who avoid regular wool due to itchiness prefer merino wool, as its fine fibers feel soft against the skin.
