Protection from Insects and Ticks
The products in this category offer protection against biting and stinging insects as well as ticks.
Protective Agent or Dense Fabric?
Some insect-protective clothing contains a natural repellent. These substances do not harm or kill insects or ticks, but rather repel them. Other garments rely on tightly woven fabrics through which, for example, a mosquito’s proboscis cannot penetrate.
Clothing Tips Against Ticks
Ticks move upward – effective prevention includes tucking pant legs into socks and wearing shirts tucked into trousers. Insects and ticks (which are arachnids) dislike the scent of repellents and often choose to go elsewhere.
No to Permethrin
