Its longer cut provides extra coverage and pairs exceptionally well with climbing harnesses. The hood, adjustable cuffs, and underarm vents allow for precise ventilation and protection control, depending on the conditions.
As the name suggests, this jacket features a 2.5-layer construction, which keeps weight and pack size to a minimum. When wearing a 2.5-layer jacket, it’s always recommended to use a long-sleeve base layer underneath for comfort. This type of jacket is not recommended for use with a heavy backpack.
