Sea To Summit Minimalist Tarp

A tarp protects you from the rain and sun - just add your favourite sleeping pad and bag, and a bugnet during bug season and you’re there! Especially with the tarp being as light as the Minimalist Tarp is, you’ll easily reach very low packing weights.

The Minimalist Tarp is made from a new silicone-treated ripstop fabric that combines the strengths of nylon and polyester. Compared to pure nylon, this fabric stretches less when wet and dries faster.

The shape of the end panels allows for adjustable protection: the so-called storm flaps can be positioned for better wind and rain protection, or spread open to create shade from the sun.

The Minimalist Tarp is designed for easy setup with trekking poles, but it can just as well be pitched under a separate ridgeline. Its width is ideal for one user.
