A new, full tang version of the popular wilderness puukko.

Handmade in Finland, this is an even tougher version of the original Roselli Eräpuuko. The Eräpuukko was Roselli’s first model, and it has been manufactured since 1976. It has always been a versatile tool as a hunter’s general-purpose knife - the original idea was to design and manufacture the best possible knife for moose hunters. The blade works both for skinning and for preparing campfires.

The carbon steel used in this knife contains 0.8% carbon. The result is a blade that is easy to sharpen and a versatile choice for camping and outdoor use. The blade is also tough enough for working with harder materials such as bone and tendons.

  • Carbon steel blade, hardness approx. 60 HRC
  • Blade length 95 mm
  • Blade thickness 3 mm
  • Total length 220 mm
  • Weight: 200 g
  • Birch handle treated with linseed oil - good grip even when hands get wet
  • Sheath made of Finnish vegetable-tanned leather
  • Made in Finland
  • Lifetime warranty against manufacturing and material defects

Take care of your carbon steel blade! Carbon steel is easy to sharpen to an impressive edge, but if you allow it to be wet for a while, its surface will rust. Always dry the blade after use and occasionally apply a thin layer of salt-free oil to it.

Handles made of synthetic materials always look the same, but wood handles each have a unique grain pattern - this means the knife you receive will not match the product image 100%. Please note that we do not accept grain patterns as a reason for a product exchange.

Roselli knives and axes come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing and material defects. Note! The warranty covers breakage of the product during proper use, but does not cover normal wear or damage caused by improper use (e.g., twisting with the blade or using another tool to press or strike the blade).
