A lighter polyester tent for up to ten, compatible with stovepipes.
The popular Klondike tent is traditionally made of breathable cotton polyester, but now there is also a lighter Klondike Grande PRS. In addition to being lighter, it is also suitable for rainier conditions. The Klondike is ready for your favorite wood stove (sold separately): the ceiling has an adjustable opening for a stovepipe and it can also be used for ventilation.
The Klondike Grande PRS is a good choice for base camp use for use by a group or family.
The structure is very sturdy: Robens has tested the Klondike Grands PRS with a wind machine and it took 192km/h or 53m/s to damage the tent. To put this into scale, wind speeds exceeding 33 m/s are classified as a hurricane.
The manufacturer estimates the set up time for the tent to be about 13 minutes, and at 10 minutes the first hikers can already go in, for shelter from the rain.
