The Ascent 900 lies in the class of insulation that makes it difficult for EN standard tests to reliably tell about the differences between bags. For this reason, Rab has published the limit and comfort temperatures, but not the extreme rating. You can rest assured the extreme rating is somewhere in the -40ºC range.
