Rab Men's Microlight Shield Waterproof Down Jacket

The Rab Microlight down jackets have been hugely popular for a long time now. This waterproof version is at its best around freezing temperatures, when chilling rain is as much of a threat as cold winds. This jacket weighs more than other Microlight series down jackets, but is much lighter than heavy winter parkas.

The Pertex outer fabric delivers convincing performance figures: both the hydrostatic head and breathability are rated at 20,000. Cinch the hem and hood snugly and the jacket gives excellent protection. The inner cuffs at the sleeves keep the wind out.

The construction of this jacket also accounts for situations where something goes wrong: it’s designed to be easy to repair.
