When it comes to boiling water for hot drinks or hiking food, a compact stove like this is a good choice. The burner and a 100 gram gas cartridge (not included) can be packed in the pot for transport. The bottom of the pot locks into the burner - there is no fear of the pot falling. Pot supports are included so that you can also use other pots.
