Primus Piezo Igniter

A 98 mm long tube, with a button at one end - a practical way of lighting your gas stove without burning your fingers. Piezo electricity is a nifty phenomenon: no need for batteries or consumable fuel. As you trigger the mechanism by pressing the button, a striker gives the piezo element a whack, creating a spark-like arc at the other end of the lighter.
