Part of the popular Lite stove series, the Ultra is designed to make boiling water effortless and fast, whether you use it to make drinks or freeze-dried camping meals. For actual cooking and simmering, you might want to consider a larger, more adjustable stove.

Designed for three-season use, the Lite Ultra is very gas efficient: the heat from the flame passes through heat transfer fins at the bottom of the pot before reaching the outside air.

Primus recommends this model to be used for 1 or 2 people. With a pot size of less than a liter, this model is suitable for boiling half a liter at a time. The pot is made of hard-anodized aluminum. Aluminum transfers the heat of the flame extremely efficiently to the water being boiled, and the anodizing prevents the aluminum from leaching into the water.
