A reliable basic package for camping and hiking! A 230-gram gas cartridge and the burner pack away inside the pot for transport. A stove like this is ideal for heating drinks and preparing freeze-dried meals in a rehydration pouch. The lid doubles as a frying pan – so you can fry up an egg for breakfast, for example.

Like many other current Primus stoves, this one’s Laminar Flow burner has very precise and wide-ranging heat control. Remember to open the valve fully (this may take several full turns) for the fastest boiling result.

The frying pan and pot are light and the stove’s flame is fierce – don’t heat the pan empty, and use relatively low output so the non-stick surface isn’t damaged. Boiling water is different, just put it all the way to eleven.

Keep in mind that you shouldn’t use an actual stove windshield with this type of stove, so the gas cartridge doesn’t overheat.
