The Värnamo shirt combines linen and super-soft Lyocell fiber, which is derived from wood pulp. Both fibers are renewable and environmentally friendly, ensuring that the shirt remains sustainable even if it wears out over time. The fabric is easy to care for and comfortable against the skin.
This product features Pinewood’s Insectsafe treatment, which reduces the likelihood of insects and ticks landing on the fabric.

The active ingredient in the Insectsafe treatment is IR3535, which has been used in repellent sprays for over 30 years. It provides long-lasting protection against ticks and insects - even 80 washes do not remove the substance from the fabric. The ingredient does not kill insects but makes the fabric an unpleasant environment for them. An insect landing on the fabric typically spends a moment there before leaving. IR3535 is also safe for use by small children and pregnant women. The ingredient is approved by the WHO, and the U.S. EPA and CDC.
