A thicker and warmer Helium for everyday wear and winter outdoor activities!
Peak Performance’s Helium series down jackets are a familiar sight on Nordic winter streets and hiking trails. The basic Helium is, as the name suggests, very lightweight, whereas this Diamond Fuse version is significantly more robust and also warmer. The structure is not stitched through; instead, the down compartments use a so-called 3D construction – this, along with a higher fill amount, makes a big difference in warmth.
Diamond Fuse fabric is made from uniquely shaped fibers. While regular fabric fibers are round, Diamond Fuse fibers are rhomboid in shape (see additional images). The result is double the abrasion resistance and improved water repellency. (note! this is not a waterproof product)
The cutting method used for the fabric reduces material waste. The product contains no PFC compounds. The down filling is RDS certified.
The Helium Diamond Fuse is a great choice for real winter use, both in daily life and during breaks and camp time on winter excursions.
