Nikwax Tech Wash & TX.Direct Spray On

The gentle Tech Wash washes technical garments without damaging the waterproof membrane (Gore-Tex, DrymaxX, Sympatex, Texapore, eVent, etc.). Spray-on impregnation is the best choice for garments whose lining fabric should not be treated with impregnation; Nikwax also makes a machine-washable impregnation that also treats the inside of the garment.

The products do not contain PFAS compounds.

• Works for both hand and machine washing
• The detergent washes skin oil and other dirt from clothes, and restores the breathability of the membrane material.
• Impregnation spray improves the water repellency of the surface fabric (note! The membrane itself is responsible for the waterproofness of waterproof membrane clothing, such impregnations only treat the surface fabric on top of the membrane)
• The impregnation does not require any subsequent heat treatment

Use:

• Shake bottles just before use
• Detergent:
• Clean the detergent drawer of the washing machine of any residues of previous detergents.
• Wash 1 or 2 items of clothing at a time
• Use 150 ml detergent if your tap water is hard, or 100 ml if it is soft.
• Wash clothes at 30°C with either a very gentle spin or no spin
• Packing size 300 ml
• TX.D Spray:
• Use only on clean clothing
• Please note that some of the spray will inevitably end up on places other than clothing: you can protect the bathroom floor from splashes, for example, with newspapers
• Spray evenly onto the surface of the garment from a distance of approximately 15 cm.
• Wait 5 minutes and if there are any drips or drops on the surface afterwards, wipe them off with a damp cloth
• Drying:
• Dry at room temperature or, if the garment’s care label allows, on the lowest heat setting in the tumble dryer.
