Women's stable trail runners, also a good choice for walking.
The updated Hierro is a great choice not only as a running training shoe but also for walking and fast hiking. The thick sole structure features two types of cushioning foam: a softer foam on the footbed side for comfort and a firmer foam on the outer sole for stability.
The overall feel is stable. Your foot doesn’t just rest on a flat cushioning layer but is cradled by the material, creating a “bathtub-style” fit around the foot.
The Hierro v9 shoes have a heel that is 4 mm higher than the forefoot, which appeals even to experienced runners. The upper fabric is more durable than average and clearly built to last.
