The Meindl Matrei is an all-purpose boot with a wide Comfort fit last. The only thing this boot can’t do is heavy-duty trekking with a monster pack. The ankle provides a bit of support, but the boot is comfortably supple.
Full leather upper, metal lace hooks and Meindl’s quality control help predict this shoe to have a long service life. Note! The polyurethane midsole benefits from frequent use: don’t leave your boots unused for long periods of time. Whenever possible, choose a cool storing space instead of, for instance, heated floor.
