Precip clothing features a 2.5-layer construction. This means that instead of a traditional lining, the NanoPro material has an ultralight printed interior layer directly on the waterproof membrane. This design allows for minimal weight and pack size. You’ll want to wear technical base layer pants or tights under 2.5-layer pants. On the other hand, you can don these pants straight on top of your hiking pants when you realize rain is about to roll in.

Thanks to full-length side zippers, you can put on these Precip pants quickly when rain starts, without needing to remove your shoes or boots.
