Jack Wolfskin Moonshadow

A traditional tarp is a simple square or rectangle. By making a slight curve at the sides, the risk of the edges flapping is reduced, and this tactic has been used in the design of Jack Wolfskin’s generously sized Moonshadow tarp.

The poles shown in the product image are not included.

The Moonshadow is the opposite of an ultralight approach: complete with the included pegs it weighs over one and a half kilograms, but the fabric is made to last, and the hydrostatic head value is a whopping 4000 mm. Set up the Moonshadow as a shelter for three or four hikers, or as a rain or sun shelter for a group at camp!
