J-P Peltonen Sissipuukko M95 (Ranger knife, model 95) - A great choice when looking for a sturdier knife. This model is delivered with a plastic sheath, a great choice when there’s a chance of damp conditions. Built with a rubber roller holding the knife in place, the sheath enables upside down carry. The blade is thicker than that of most Nordic puukko knives, and the knife has a sturdy general feel to it. This version, with its uncoated 80CrV2 carbon steel blade, is the right choice for those who don’t like the original’s PTFE coating.
