Revolutionary changes often occur when trying to solve simple problems. Hoka’s plan was to improve running times in endurance sports by designing a shoe that is faster downhill. They inadvertently reinvented the shoe.
When Hoka developed a shoe for difficult terrain for a 100-mile run, it turned out that a good downhill shoe improved the feeling of running uphill as well. The shoe designed for this purpose was also suitable for other shorter distance runners and helped them improve their performance.
Light trail running shoes, more cushioned and waterproof models and hiking shoes make up Scandinavian Outdoor’s Hoka selection. Check out our men’s and women’s shoe collection and order shoes right to your door!
