By now, a thick and warm Helly Hansen fleece is in the “timeless classics” category. They’ve been making these since 1961, always with impeccable quality. It tells you something about the material, that this fleece weighs roughly twice as much as a regular fleece top, thanks to the thick material.

The long, high-pile fleece traps plenty of body-warmed air. That makes the Panorama Pile a solid mid layer, and something comfortable to lounge around in, even in the coldest conditions. Fleece also transfers moisture better, and dries faster than wool.
