Haglöfs has been using the Proof membrane in many of their waterproof products for years now. In these men’s Ozka Proof Pants, the membrane is paired with a two-layer construction, meaning there’s a thin fabric and mesh lining inside. In some situations you can pull these pants on straight over your boxers, though most of the time it’s better to wear technical or merino wool long johns underneath.
The Ozka pants work as all-round trousers for a rainy walk or a weekend trip in cool weather. They’re also easy to pack along as insurance against rain when you head out on a longer trip.
