Svala, meaning “swallow” in Finnish, has created an impressive Pääsky collection. Thanks to their suitable thickness, the Merino Design Pääsky pants can be used as either a base or mid-layer. The 100% merino wool is produced without the use of the mulesing method, and the material weight is a comfortable 200g/m².

Merino wool remains an unbeatable material in cold and cool conditions, especially in situations where breaks or camping are involved—it balances temperature fluctuations and still functions well when damp. The material naturally resists odors and bacterial growth.

These wide leg pants are an excellent, cozy choice for your spare time. They can be used as mid layer pants as well, if you’re ready to deal with the wide, open leg ends.

• Regular fit, but sizes 44 and 46 are made with the wider D fit

• Dyed and finished according to the Öko-Tex 100 standard
• Wash at 30ºC, preferably with wool detergent, reshape while damp

You can extend the time between washes by airing the product between uses.
