Ordering

Placing an order at the online store:

1) Select the item you want from our wide selection and add it to the shopping cart:

1.1) Select the item.

1.2) Select the appropriate color.

1.3) Select the appropriate size.

Note! The Open Size Chart link, which helps you with the size selection, is located below the size menu.

1.4) Click on Add to Cart. At this point, you can decide if you want to continue shopping or whether you want to go to checkout.

To continue shopping, press Continue Shopping and proceed as in step 1.

2) Once you have selected all the items, go to the checkout (i.e. the Shopping Cart page) by clicking Go to Cart or by clicking the shopping cart image at the top right of the site. On the shopping cart page, you can decide whether you want to register as our customer or order without registering. You can read more about the benefits of registering here. Check that the shopping cart contains the correct number of items you want to order. Here you can also remove items from the shopping cart by pressing Remove. Or you can increase the number of items by pressing the + sign next to the number of pieces. If you have a promo code, add it to the Shopping Cart under the Use Discount Code or Gift Card. If you have any wishes regarding the order, enter it in the Special Request section. You can then press Go to payment

3) The payment page opens.

3.1) First enter your email address and postal code in the Contact Information field.

3.2) Select the delivery method and location. Read more about delivery methods.

3.3) Select the payment method. Read more about payment methods.

3.4) Press Buy.

4) You will switch to the secure payment service provided by Klarna. You can choose online banking, Klarna payment options or Paypal as your payment method (read more about Paypal here).

5) Follow the instructions and complete the transaction.

6) Once your order is successful, we will email you an automatic order confirmation.

Canceling an order or removing an item

Do you want to cancel your order or a part of it after you have paid for it? Contact our customer service via chat or email orders@scandinavianoutdoor.com, and let us know what you want to cancel.

What happens after I order?

Once you have successfully placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation in your email. After this, it usually takes 1-3 business days for our warehouse to process your order. Excepted are the items whose item card reads "Delivery time 5-10 days" or "Delivery time 10-14 days". Note! Most of our selection departs the warehouse within 1-3 days. You should always check the delivery time of the items you have ordered in the shopping cart before paying for the order. Once your order has been processed in our warehouse, you will receive a delivery confirmation email with the package tracking ID. The tracking ID allows you to track the journey of the package on the website of the delivery service of your choice (eg Postal Service). Note that it can take several hours after receiving the notification email before your tracking ID is activated.

Can I order without registering?

Yes, you can order from our online store without registering as a regular customer. However, your name, address, telephone number and e-mail must be entered for delivery and order confirmation.

Registering as a club customer

You can easily register as our Life Outdoors club customer with a purchase by clicking Login or Register on the Shopping Cart page and entering your information. If you want to join the club without buying anything, you can do so here. You can also join the Life Outdoors club in all of our stores.

How do I get the Scout discount?

You can get a Scout discount in the online store as follows: 1) Register as our customer here. 2) Add your own Scout membership ID and Scout Group to your account. After this, the Scout discount will automatically appear in the shopping cart whenever you are logged in to your account. Please note that the Scout discount does not apply to Scout items, service items and gift cards and cannot be combined with discount codes or Life Outdoors club offers. The Scout Discount can be combined with promotional items other than club promotions. You can get a Scout discount by showing your membership card in our stores. You can download it to your phone from Kuksa.

You can get the Suomen Latu membership discount in our online store as follows: 1) Register as our customer here. 2) Add your own Suomen Latu member ID to your account. After that, the membership discount will automatically appear in the shopping cart whenever you are logged in to your account. Please note that the membership discount does not apply to Scout items, service items and gift cards and cannot be combined with discount codes or Life Outdoors club items. The membership discount can be combined with promotional items other than Life Outdoors club promotions. You can get the Suomen Latu membership discount in our stores by showing your membership card.
