The manufacturer gives all Expedition series clothing and accessories a temperature rating of +5ºC … -50ºC! The added warmth of a balaclava can make all the difference in staying warm, as a huge part of body heat loss happens around the head and shoulders.
Take good care of your Merino apparel - regular detergents are a bit over the top for use with wool, so we recommend using Nikwax Wool Wash, regardless of whether you wash your apparel in a machine or by hand.
