The ATK Hy 11 Free rewards demanding users with the best performance on the market. Known for its lightweight bindings, ATK stays true to its philosophy and combines all top-tier features in this model. Despite its low weight, the binding delivers excellent downhill performance, allowing you to fully enjoy backcountry descents. In ski mode, the boot rests completely flat on the binding, without the height difference typical of pin bindings.
In addition to excellent ski control, the Hy 11 Free offers an exceptionally wide range of adjustment in walk mode: –18, +10, and +42 mm. The negative setting improves uphill efficiency, especially with boots that have a more limited range of motion, and is also beneficial during long approaches on flat terrain.
The Hy 11 Free is compatible with almost all alpine, all-mountain, tech freeride, and touring boots. You can fine-tune the front AFD (Anti Friction Device) to match your boots using the included adjustment plates. For thinner, hard plastic soles, ATK offers thick, vibration-damping shims. For rubber soles and thicker boot soles, adjustment plates are usually not needed, as vibration damping is already integrated into the sole itself.
