Zandstra Tango HCS + BC Manual

There are many styles of Nordic skates available today, and this model is designed for skaters using Rottefella NNN BC boots. BC bindings provide solid support, and the compatible boots have a more trekking-oriented design compared to regular skate-ski boots – they’re comfortable for short walks when needed and also warmer than typical ski boots. The skating feel is still sportier than when using solid bindings that don’t allow your heel to lift.

• 1.25 mm thick blade stands up well to use on natural ice
• Steel hardness: 60 Rc
• Rounded tip
• Manual BC binding: the hand-operated lever has proven to be the most reliable locking mechanism in varying conditions over the years

Rough guide for choosing blade length:

• 43 cm: for Euro shoe sizes 37 - 40
• 45 cm: for Euro shoe sizes 41 - 43
• 48cm: for Euro shoe sizes 44 +

Note! The Rottefella NNN BC system is different from the Rottefella NNN system. BC boots have a 42 mm wide toe bar, while NNN bindings use a narrower one. When choosing your boots, make sure they are specifically BC boots.

NOTE! Don’t forget to also buy ice claws – an essential safety item for anyone venturing onto ice.
