The Halny tent gets its name from a warm storm type that blows along valleys. It’s a pretty good name for this tent, as the low-profile tunnel tent tolerates longitudinal winds really well.

The Halny can be considered a reasonably priced version of Terra Nova’s Laser tent. The weight is still nice and low and the pack size is also nicely small. The water column values ​​of the materials are impressive and this tent can also be recommended for frequent use, whereas the most extreme ultralight tents are somewhat delicate.

The vestibule can accommodate backpacks or bike panniers. As you can see in the pictures, the vestibule wall can be set up as a small canopy if you happen to have hiking poles with you.
