The Halny tent gets its name from a warm storm type that blows along valleys. It’s a pretty good name for this tent, as the low-profile tunnel tent tolerates longitudinal winds really well.

The Halny can be considered a reasonably priced version of Terra Nova’s Laser solo tent. The weight is still nice and low and the pack size is also nicely small. The water column values ​​of the materials are impressive and this tent can also be recommended for frequent use, whereas the most extreme ultralight tents are somewhat delicate.

The vestibule can accommodate a backpack or bike panniers. As you can see in the pictures, the vestibule wall can be set up as a small canopy if you happen to have hiking poles with you.
