A new, more powerful gas burner for Trangia stoves.
This gas burner is compatible with Trangia 25 and 27 series stoves as well as the Triangle model. Previously, the actual manufacturer of Trangia’s gas burners was Primus, but now Trangia makes them themselves. The burner fits the same burner hole as the spirit burner. Compatible with threaded gas cartridges (e.g., Primus). A Trangia equipped with a gas burner is extremely competent: it is remarkably stable, very well protected from the wind, and quite efficient. Compared to many other gas stoves, especially multi-fuel stoves, the Trangia burner is also pleasantly quiet.
This burner has a power output of 2300 watts, whereas the spirit burner’s power is around 1000 watts – the difference is quite significant. The previous gas burner had a max. output of 2100 watts. This model is 80 grams lighter than the previous gas burner
- Works with Trangia 25 and 27 series as well as the Triangle, but not with the Trangia 28 Mini Stove
- Gas consumption at full power: 192 g/h
- Standard EN417 threaded gas cartridges
- The wool stuffsack, made of surplus material by Woolpower, can be used as a cozy for a small gas canister (see extra image)
- Made in Sweden
If your Trangia is old enough, its windscreen (the bottom part) may not have a hole for the valve part to pass through. No worries, aluminum is easy to work with, and you can craft an appropriate hole yourself even in an old windscreen.
This is a stove accessory. The stove itself is sold separately. Gas cartridge not included.
