Trangia 25-21 UL/Duossal

With its spirit burner, sturdy windshield and pot support ultra reliable function, the Trangia is a true classic. This version brings back the Duossal pots that were available some years ago. What is Duossal? Well, it means the pots and frying pan have a steel coating on the inside, thus combining a lightweight body with a fantastic frying/boiling surface that is super tough in long-term use and does not give out aluminum even when boiling sour ingredients for extended periods of time. The aluminum layer is 0.5 mm thick and the steel layer 0.3 mm.

The spirit burner included has a max. power of 1000 Watts and is ultra quiet.

Note! Cooking with stainless steel may require a bit of practice - the surface is pure metal, without any sort of nonstick coating. When frying, for instance, you’ll want to aim for great temperature control and enough fat.

Remember to let the burner cool down properly before putting its lid back on - a hot burner can melt the o-ring. Ok, they’re available as spare parts but a bit of patience is rewarded with a leak-free experience.
