Made with machines made in the 1930’s in a small factory free of mobile phones and other modern nonsense, these wool socks serve the same purpose as they always have: bringing you lots of cozy warmth and comfort.
In honor of our 50th anniversary, we are releasing a selection of fantastic outdoor and hiking products in collaboration with local manufacturers. Here are the wool socks from our collection. Made in Finland! The material consists of 70% wool and 30% polyamide. Thanks to the polyamide, these warm socks are durable for long-term use.
To achieve the perfect properties specifically for wool socks, the yarns are spun from wool of three different sheep breeds. The wool is ethically sourced from New Zealand (mulesing-free).

Wool is an extremely hygroscopic animal fiber – it can absorb up to 30-40% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet. As it absorbs moisture, wool releases heat. This, along with wool’s natural insulation ability, makes traditional carded wool socks excellently warm and breathable.
