The North Face Girls Reversible Perrito Hood Jacket is a great choice for temperatures around a couple of degrees above zero and light frosts. The jacket is reversible: one side is a lighter colour, the other a darker one. The surfaces differ too: one side is smooth, while the other clearly shows the sections holding the insulating fibre.

According to the manufacturer, the Perrito also works as a thick mid layer under a roomy enough shell or winter jacket. In that case, the outer jacket really does need to be quite large.
