The ** Suunto Core 2** is an adventure watch with a user-replaceable battery. It has so-called ABC sensors, i.e. an electronic compass, a barometer (and thus an altimeter) and a thermometer.

When you don’t need heart rate functions, training functions, smart functions or GPS from your watch, the manufacturer can leave a lot of energy-hogging technology out, meaning that the power consumption of the watch is so low that Suunto gives the Core 2 a battery life estimate of 23 months. No need for constant charging, no risk of location data getting leaked!
