Savotta Askare Hip Pack

Belt packs are making a strong return. This Askare model sits comfortable between small hip packs and small daypacks. As you’d expect from a Savotta product, the material is extremely durable 500 denier Cordura fabric. When you stow the belt, you can rig the pack as an extra pocket for a backpack by using the pack’s side compression straps. Note! Doing this requires separately available G hooks or SR buckles, which are not included with the pack. The stowing pocket doubles as a large belt loop, enabling use of your favourite belt. The Askare is nicest to carry on your waist with the pack against your lower back. It’s easy to spin it around your body when you need to access your gear, and if you will, you can go for a shoulder style carry.
