Savotta Kantamus 40L Multicam

This has been highly anticipated – the 40-liter Kantamus (Finnish for the load you carry) is already a highly functional backpack on its own, but by adding carefully selected additional pockets (sold separately), it can be customized for a variety of uses. Beneath its streamlined appearance, the pack conceals a sturdy aluminum tube frame, which helps transfer the weight of even heavy loads onto the hip belt.

This pack boasts the Multicam pattern. Detail images display other colours. Extra images may also display separately available extra pockets and other bags which are not included in this product.

Even if your gear isn’t ultra-light, this backpack has ample space to carry everything needed for a multi-day trek in mild weather conditions.

The floating lid provides an additional 8 liters of storage space and adapts to the packed load, keeping the backpack’s shape intact in all situations.

The materials are well-known from Savotta: 1000D and 500D Cordura, built for durability. The lighter 500D fabric is used at the opening and back panel. The polyurethane coating on the inner surface of the fabric provides water resistance, although the seams are not taped.

The dual zipper sliders not only make opening and closing the pack more convenient but also serve as a backup in case one breaks. The buckles, lid, shoulder straps, and hip belt components can all be replaced without sewing, ensuring long-term usability. If needed, all hip belt components can be swapped out without special tools or stitching.
