In the three step classification Salomon uses, the men’s Ultra Glide is in the highest category for cushion. A solid choice for long runs. This version number four is lighter, and has a more breathable upper than its predecessor.

The wavy “Relieve Sphere” structure of the midsole helps soften up the stride feel. The general feel of the suspension is soft instead of springy, making these a great choice for gathering miles on base endurance runs.
