Salomon S/Lab Ultra Glide 2

The men’s and women’s Salomon Ultra Glide 2 shoes use two different cushioning foams, and the wavy “Relieve Sphere” design of the sole adds an extra dose of softness. Like other S/LAB products, the Ultra Glide 2 has been developed in collaboration with professional athletes.

The S/Lab Ultra Glide 2 has a sable and protective general feel, and it gives protection from uneven terrain, together with ultramarathon compatible cushion. It’s a great choice when searching for shoes for long and demanding runs where speed characteristics are not as crucial.

Compared to its predecessor, the 1.5, this version 2 offers a fit is best suited for relatively narrow and low profile feet: if your feet are wide or tall, it’s wise to choose a more spacious model.

The sole’s RelieveSphere structure offers the shock absorption its own touch: landing, the sole contacts the ground with smaller parts first, then amping up to the full cushion.
