Compared to the original, this S/Lab Genesis 2 boasts a more springy cushion, and a redesigned outer sole for extra traction. Lab tests show an energy return rate of up to 70% for the new midsole, compared to the 55% of the first version. The ActiveChassis support structure has been made more moderate and is now integrated in the midsole.

The S/Lab Genesis 2 is a truly versatile trail runner, suitable for many levels of experience and use, ranging from relatively long races to use by a beginner who does a high proportion of their trail excursions by walking.
