Robens tents combine reliable quality with reasonable pricing. The manufacturer also wind-tests their tents using a wind machine. The Pioneer 3EX withstood wind speeds of 138 km/h and gusts of 145 km/h before sustaining damage—wind speeds that meet the definition of a hurricane.
This model is spacious enough for three people. It’s also light enough for two people to carry. For two trekkers this tent provides a luxuriously spacious shelter in bad weather.
Note! The vestibule floor seen in some images is not included.
The shelter has one door to a large porch area where you can store all your gears and stay sheltered during the bad weather and cook a warm meal with your stove. The Robens Pioneer 3EX is a sturdy tent and it is easy to pitch.
